6 New Maggie Sottero Gowns You Can’t Miss

August 1, 2020

When it comes to classic, romantic gowns, few designers do it better than Maggie Sottero. Based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, you can see their uniquely Midwestern/Western influence, along with a touch of the romance of the mountain regions near them. We also love that they feature a “Modest” collection of gowns for brides wanting to stay covered on their wedding day. This small attention to detail shows how truly committed to their brides they really are.

We recently received our 2020 Maggie Sottero gowns and man, it was hard to narrow down to favorites. After considerable debate, here are just 6 of the Maggie Sottero gowns we love – there’s definitely more, and these aren’t our favorites, we just couldn’t choose! Can ya blame us?

Selena

Let’s talk about Selena, okay? Not only is this one of the most chic and timeless gowns we’ve seen in a long time (that scoop neckline! Those button details!), but this baby is comfortable. She’s made out of a fabulous Mikado satin material that floats with you, using its’ structure to create the fabulous volume you see in the skirt. Add the box pleats for fashion and the pockets for function and you’ve got the ultimate forever-chic ballgown.

Lonnie

Lonnie is a gown for any bride wanting her silhouette to take center stage. This absolute beauty has so much structure, you’re guaranteed to flaunt your curves and still have a food baby no one can see. Her fitted gown features strong boning throughout the bodice, allowing you to look your best in this classic mermaid silhouette. I’m also gonna go ahead and need you to zoom in on the photo – go ahead, I’ll give you a second. CHECK OUT THAT SPARKLE. The secret sparkle throughout this dress is a stunner. Add a sprinkling of lace appliques, a horse hair hem for drama, and detachable beaded spaghetti straps and you’ve got a truly one-of-a-kind dress!

Greenley

Looking for something that has a little more “soft romance” instead of “formal glam?” Look no further than Greenley, a gorgeous fit-and-flare gown lined with a stretch liner for comfort. Yeah, you read that correctly – a stretch liner. You can dance & get low allllll night long with no problems in Greenely. Her lace appliques feature both floral and leaves, which is so fitting for her name. A gorgeous illusion v neckline and sheer bodice give this baby a kiss of sexy. On Maggie Sottero’s website, they imagine that “the cocktail for this celebration [with Greenley] is something minty and charmingly named.” We agree!

Natalie

Okay, so Natalie is a gown for the type of effortlessly-cool bride we want to be. Seriously, she looks so naturally gorgeous that any bride who chooses her could just wake up and marry her soulmate. We love gowns that allow the bride to shine! Natalie’s soft off-the-shoulder neckline and sparkle tulle skirt make her ultra feminine, while her lace appliques and subtle beading keep her modern. Please, please, please – we’re just dying in anticipation of some gorgeous garden party photos in this babe!

Ladelle

Who gave Maggie Sottero permission to make a dress so gorgeous?! This Mikado fit-and-flare stunner is for any bride wanting to show off her classic, yet edgy side. Her plunging v-neck and sheer back feature some seriously glam beading, mirrored all the way down the train by the crystal buttons. This dress is a rockstar and definitely waiting for a bride wanting to make a statement!

Nanette

OKAY, girl, Nanette is an absolute dream and we think you’ll think so, too. This fabulous chiffon gown is just waiting for a lakeside ceremony, a fabulous church aisle with flowers, or even a low-key backyard with the twinkliest of lights. Her sheer bodice and plunging v neck are sexy while her gorgeous beading will keep you shimmering all night. Lined with the softest of organza, this is a dress you’ll want to get married in over and over and over again. We concur. Just have like 7 ceremonies, it’s fine.

Which Maggie Sottero gown is your favorite? Can’t choose? We understand. We had the same problem. Let us know in the comments if you do manage to pick a favorite – we’d be so proud of you!
