Fabulous #dgbride Lindsey married her soulmate, Jose, on June 27th, 2020. We are so thankful for this couple; not only did Lindsey trust us to style her for her wedding gown, but we were also lucky enough to style Jose & his groomsmen for their big moment, too! When it came to planning her dream wedding, Lindsey has a set vision from the very beginning. She wanted to keep her day airy, bright, and natural, focusing on greenery and cream/blush accents highlighted by the boys' blue tuxedos. Even the weather cooperated for their gorgeous outdoor ceremony! Lindsey wanted to keep everything simple & chic - we think she nailed it!
Lindsey's warm, vibrant energy radiated throughout Dress Gallery. Every time her or Jose popped in, we loved getting to work with them. You can tell they're truly beaming with happiness in their wedding photos! We love how Lindsey relied on the natural scenery around her to truly showcase her gorgeous gown - can you imagine the skirt flowing while frolicking through the fields?!
Lindsey ended up choosing an absolutely stunning wedding dress from one of our very own private collections! This gorgeous a-line gown flowed gracefully, featuring applique lace throughout the skirt and a spaghetti strap v neck. Her champagne undertone perfectly complimented the green & blush colors she featured throughout her wedding!
"I had looked at a small dress shop in KC, but I knew I wanted to get my dress with Dress Gallery," Lindsey said. "I'd gotten all of my school dresses there and felt comfortable with my consultant. I tried "The One" on second, but continued to try on dresses after that. I kept comparing every dress to that one!"
One of the most special moments of the day was when Lindsey & Jose's daughter was able to join them for photos and their first dance. Seeing the photos of their happy, gorgeous family brought tears to our eyes here at DG! We love seeing families glowing on wedding day. Their daughter is an absolute joy - and we can't be the only one obsessed with her dress!
When it came to styling Jose, we took our job just as seriously as we did for Lindsey. They wanted the menswear looks to be timeless, tasteful, and classic, along with complimenting the accent colors perfectly. We styled Jose and his tribe in navy blue suits with blush ties and brown shoes. Their greenery-inspired boutonnieres tied in perfectly with the girls' bouquets!
