We are so excited when we get to connect with our couples in a way that make them feel like long lost friends and our next #dgcouple are some of our absolute favorites! Brittany and Ryan tied the knot in an ultra bohemian, extra fun ceremony in September 2022. Their eccentric and fun-filled wedding day was perfectly captured by our favorite photographer, Shelby Laine, whose moody editing style perfectly matched Brittany's boho wedding vision. When it came to her wedding dress, Brittany knew she wanted something nontraditional, a little sexy, and a lot of whimsy. She wanted something that was the perfect combination of ethereal and airy, but also stunning and a little va-va-voom. When she tried on Penelope from Chic Nostalgia for the first time, we knew she was a goner! This dress is the perfect option for a bride wanting a flowy, airy gown while still feeling sexy. Penelope features a structured sheer bodice with plunging sweetheart neckline and billowing tulle skirts. It also comes with detachable cuffed bishop sleeves, but Brittany decided to customize her gown entirely by creating matching bell sleeves for extra length and drama!
For her girls, Brittany chose a specific color palette (beautiful Bronze, Rosewood, and Rosepetal from Morilee and Jasmine Bridesmaids), but allowed the girls to choose the dresses that fit their body and comfort level. Her group was super stunning in our brand new silk satin material while also complimenting texturally with pops of velvet amongst them. We love how textured and full of life all of their group photos are with their mix-and-match colors and dried florals! Plus, when you add in the spicy Mulberry suits the men wore (courtesy of Allure Menswear, available for both purchase and rental with us!), we LOVED how they popped against the grey-purple of the jackets. This is truly one fashion-forward group and we were LOVING IT!
