Alright, guys, we're so excited to showcase one of our newest #dgcouples! Brooke and Josh were married in an ultra-fun, super cool, down-to-earth ceremony complete with the coolest grooms attire and a custom Maggie Sottero gown. Brooke and Josh chose our favorite girl, Shelby Laine, as their wedding photographer because they are long time family friends; Josh was even in Shelby's own wedding! When it came to finding Brooke's perfect gown, she knew she wanted something gorgeous, timeless, and traditional with just a hint of whimsical. Her brand new, off-the-rack, never-been-worn Maggie Sottero gown was the perfect choice for her. Her gown, Watson, had been discontinued by the designer, but we snagged a BRAND NEW size 4 from their warehouse to sell off-the-rack. It fit Brooke perfectly and all she needed was slight alterations! We ordered a little bit of additional lace to create some custom off-the-shoulder detachable sleeves, perfect for a hint of romance but still able to dance the night away! Can you also believe that Brooke's dress is true WHITE? She's one of our only brides who wanted a traditional bridal white to keep it ultra chic!
Josh's look was one of our absolute favorites - he chose our BRAND SPANKIN' NEW aubergine velvet suit jacket, which we loved. He wanted to keep his look modern and cool and we love the texture his velvet jacket created. To help match his vibe, we chose our new Mulberry suit for his groomsmen, keeping the purple color palette perfectly complimentary. We love that Josh was the star of the show in his deep purple jacket while his guys were perfect accents against the natural greenery and gorgeous venue!
We love any opportunity to have a creative exit and when we saw Brooke and Josh's, we were STOKED. They utilized a fabulous classic car to help keep their details edgy and ultra-cool, all the way down to their exit! Plus, if we're being honest, they ended up with some ultra cool photos.
