Y'all...the MOST FUN wedding gallery just landed in our inbox. Like, have you ever seen a gallery of photos and just KNEW that there's a boombox somewhere pumping 90s rap or Carly Rae Jepsen to just get everyone in the mood? Because our next #dgcouple, Katelyn and Braden, are the type of fun-loving, outgoing souls who would DEFINITELY have the best hype squad. Just looking at these photos of them from their photographer, Kiera from Neverland Photography, proves to us that this was a PARTY and we should have crashed that reception. Get ready to fall in love with this couple just like we did in these shots below!
We were SO LUCKY to snag Katelyn as our bride. She's actually from Kansas City and shopped locally up north for her Allure gown. She had a particular gown in mind (style 3400), but every place she went to in Kansas City weren't helping her create the customized version of the gown she was wanting. She called us before she even drove down to be like "Hey, am I crazy? Can I do this?" and the answer was OF COURSE YOU'RE NOT! Allure Bridals is able to do LOTS of customizations to their gowns and all Katelyn was asking to do was change one layer of tulle to an ivory color. That's it! We were BAFFLED that the stores up in Kansas City didn't offer her a custom option. But we did! So Katelyn drove three hours to see us, saw our dress, and said "yes" in less than 20 minutes! This dress normally comes with more nude/champagne undertones to it, but we customized the dress so Katelyn could have a super ivory version while still having the skin-colored illusion mesh. It was super quick, easy change - and something Dress Gallery specializes in while other stores clearly do not!
When it came to getting her fiance, Braden, on her level, we knew that we wanted a look that felt as fun as his personality. Braden is not a black-and-white tux kind of guy; he's bold, outgoing, and totally original, so we needed a suit color that matched this level of fun. We landed on our Allure Menswear Brunswick collection in color Cornflower, a beautiful light blue that's the perfect balance between fall and spring weddings. We LOVE how he pops against the ivory of Katelyn's dress (and we LOVE that they're an Allure couple!) We chose a classic steel grey suit, style Houston, for his groomsmen, allowing him to be the center of attention - as he should be!
