You KNOW that we love a good spooky bridal photoshoot and it's not October unless we get a chance to shoot some of our fabulous black dresses! This season, we paired up with Ashley Chin, one of our brand spankin' new favorite photographers - not only because she's the sweetest but also because she's GOOD y'all. We loved that she leaned into traditional Kansas vibes with an Edgar Allen Poe twist for this sultry-yet-moody styled shoot. We chose one of our newest black dresses, complete with GLITTER underneath because we wanted a little extra drama. Take a peek at some of our favorite shots below and RUN, don't walk, to try on this gorgeous private label dress at your bridal consultation!
When Ashley reached out to have us help style this photoshoot, she really let us take a lot of creative control for the dress. She gave us a mood board with a sexy, sultry, 'Til Death' type of vibe and her only ask was that the dress have black accents. It was truly perfect timing because we had just received Fenix, a private collection gown here at Dress Gallery, in the model's size! She's a stunning black and glitter ballgown complete with modern square neckline, tank straps for support, and truly bold floral black appliques throughout. Our favorite piece is the layer of thick, structured glitter underneath the black tulle and lace, adding some extra dimension while still allowing this edgy dress to sparkle with every step. The designer added traditional fabric buttons down the train, but in the black color? Truly chef's kiss!
We LOVE that Fenix is a great dress option for a bougie, edgy bride. Just because you prefer the dark side doesn't mean you don't deserve a ball gown, honey! Even the moodiest of brides deserve the glitter, texture, and structure that comes from a fabulous wedding dress - we just love it when our designers give us the option for darker color schemes, too! Fenix is available to be ordered in traditional bridal Ivory or a champagne undertone, meaning there are multiple colorways regardless of your wedding color palette! Plus, this dress is a DG exclusive for the area, so there's truly no way you'll find another local bride in these same designs!
Fallen heels over head in love for a bougie, gothic ballgown yet? Because we certainly did! Save these photos to your wishlist, Pinterest board, inspiration folder...whatever! Your DG consultant can pull Fenix during your next appointment. Thank you so much, Ashley, for including us in such a fun photoshoot!
