We can’t wait to show off our next #dgcouple, Meghan and Ryan! If there’s ever been a power couple, it’s definitely these two. We fell heels-over-head for this fun-loving, goofy couple and their photos courtesy of Chris Cerna Photography compliment them so well! Take a peek at their gorgeous spring time wedding…..and get ready to see Meghan’s CUSTOM gown!

Meghan chose an absolutely stunning Moonlight Couture gown for her big day, featuring an off-the-shoulder and plunging neckline, soft and feminine lace, and custom made for her height. Because Meghan is so petite, the designer did custom measurements to make sure the dress fit her as perfectly as possible. Her consultant, Katie, and Dress Gallery owner, April, did extensive measurements for Meghan’s height and torso to make sure this gown needed minimal alterations. This also guaranteed that the dress was proportional to Meghan’s body – an important thing to remember for petite brides!

Meghan chose to accent her day with light blues, ivory, and natural greenery, allowing the bright and airy springtime vibe to be present throughout the entire wedding. We love her soft and feminine color palette while also keeping everyone’s skin tones and shapes into consideration. She kept her jewelry soft and subtle and we love her beautiful, full curls!

When it came to styling Ryan for the big day, we knew we wanted to keep his look classic and chic, similar to Meghan’s, and our navy suit was the perfect complimentary color for the bridesmaids’ dresses! Ryan rocked his own tie, but we love how classic his bridal party looked. Add in the pop of ivory + greenery to the boutonnieres and we have a super handsome group…..if we say so ourselves!

Want to hear a fun story?! Our managers, Katie and Jillian, were on their way to market buying the day after Meghan + Ryan’s wedding…..and they all ended up sitting next to each other on the plane! Meghan and Ryan were on their way to their honeymoon in Arizona while the girls were headed to Salt Lake City! We heard first hand about all of the wedding festivities and we’re so thankful; so rarely do we get to see the brides and grooms post wedding, so seeing them was truly a blessing!

Congratulations to the Unreins! We are so thankful you trusted Dress Gallery to style your group for the big day and we are even more thankful you trusted us, Meghan, for your custom gown. We wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness!

Guys, guys, guys – the day has officially arrived. If you’ve been following along, you know our girl, Katie Jones, created her own company, Heirloom Couture, to showcase her bespoke creations. She has done tons of accessories, but wanted to step into making her own gown collection. THE DAY HAS ARRIVED! We are so proud to introduce you to “Amelia,” Heirloom Couture’s first ever gown!

Katie flexed her modeling skills in her own creation during a posing workshop with Shelby Laine Photography. Shelby created some gorgeous images working some seriously fabulous vendors, including Free State Flora creating these luscious dark botanicals and Endless Treasures Event Rentals with the perfect moody accents.

Fall in love with Amelia? We did, too. And now you can officially be an Heirloom Couture bride! If you’re interested in having a hand-created gown made locally here in town, reach out NOW – Katie is limiting her orders, so RUN TO US to try this babe on!!

All of these gorgeous photos are courtesy of Shelby Laine, our resident photographer. We appreciate you, Shelbs!

Amelia features a soft lace bodice and skirt with a full point d’espirit tulle draped gracefully throughout the gown. The soft flowing cap sleeves add even more movement to the dress. She’s delicately adorned with hand-placed pearls throughout. An additional banded lace waist highlights the smallest part of the body and the modest v neck is the perfect hint of sexy.

We also outfitted Chris, Katie’s boyfriend, for this shoot! He’s wearing our awesome emerald green velvet blazer, available through our menswear department. We kept his look sleek, clean, and simple, highlighted by the greens and blacks throughout the color scheme!

We are so proud of Katie for following her dreams and officially starting her bridal collection. The big, grand goal is to have her own line, available to be bought exclusively by Dress Gallery brides. Amelia is just the first of many to come that we are positive our brides are going to love. Katie is literally a magician with her hands and you’ll definitely want a unique, truly one-of-a-kind gown!

Congratulations, Katie, on this amazing accomplishment! We can’t wait to have our very first Heirloom Couture bride!
