Guy, you DO NOT want to miss these shots of one of our newest #dggrooms, Travis! He married his soulmate, Carlita, is a super fun, super bright June ceremony filled with SO MUCH laughter and love, we are super envious we missed it. These photos courtesy of Justin Lister Photography perfectly capture the upbeat and outgoing atmosphere of the day. Basically, the Middleton wedding looked like one big dance party and we are HERE FOR IT. Get ready to check out some of these extra fun shots below:

First off, we have to start with a disclaimer: we did not style Travis for his look. Carlita + Travis came in wanting something fresh and fashionable for Travis that would truly set him apart. While we have some great colors and fits, as evidenced by the groomsmen, Travis is just SUPER COOL and wanted a full satin pant with jacquard print jacket and matching waistcoat. And let’s be honest – we ENCOURAGED this look because how awesome is it?!

Travis is a prime example of wearing and doing what YOU wanna wear/do on your wedding day. Carlita and Travis had a wedding vision and didn’t compromise. It was hard to see the whole picture from just the individual details (because we don’t often hear “tan suits, white shoes” for groups!), but when everything came together……MAN this was one fun, unique, totally cool group. They proved us wrong on what traditional groomsmen attire looks like, what different roles can be accented with what, and how to stretch our imaginations with colors and textures. We truly appreciate the Middletons for making us work our creative muscles and helping style one of the most fashionable groups we’ve seen in a hot. minute.

Travis chose our crisp tan suit, white shoes, and rose gold/merlot accents which perfectly complimented the champagne and bordeaux bridesmaids’ dresses. We love how Travis used different accent colors to tie in different roles in the wedding; the best man received a merlot vest while the groomsmen and ushers received rose gold. Dads had a navy pop to help stand out and we love how EVERYONE rocked a bowtie – classic, cool, timeless!

How GOOD LOOKING is this group, y’all?! We can’t get over how many attractive people are in one photo, goodness.

Thank you so much, Travis, for trusting Dress Gallery to style your men for such an important day. We truly loved getting to know you and your unique style; it helped push us creatively while also giving us great feedback at items we can possibly gather for fashion forward grooms. We wish you and Carlita a lifetime of love, happiness, and laughter – something we’re SURE you guys will have in abundance. Cheers to the Middletons!

It’s time for a double header, fam! Let us introduce to you #dgbride and #dggroom Abby and Matt Morris! They were married in front of their loved ones on September 26, 2020. Their original spring date got moved due to COVID-19 and this couple definitely had to roll with the punches, but the result is wedding even more gorgeous than we could have imagined. (We might be biased because we did the dress & suits, but whatever). Shoutout to photography genius Brianna Huynh for these fabulous photos!

After having to reschedule their original May ceremony date, Matt and Abby didn’t let COVID stop them from having the ultimate party. They had been waiting quite patiently for their wedding to begin with, so a few more months was nerve-wracking but totally worth it! Their marriage was definitely a party, surrounded by a loveable group of friends & family. (Again, we’re biaed, but Matt’s groomsmen might have been our favorite that weekend!)

Abby chose an absolutely stunning Essense of Australia ballgown for her special day. The “moscato” champage color underneath looked perfect with her dark hair and makeup! Her horsehair trim added additional volume to the skirt, making this dress ultra dramatic. Add in supportive, wide, sequined straps and a beaded illusion back and this dress couldn’t be beat!

When it came down to styling Matt and his groomsmen, the Morris’s wanted to keep things classic, traditional, but stylish. We recommended a gorgeous grey tuxedo, accented with hunter green detailing that perfect matched their florals & greenery! We also have to give Matt an extra big shoutout. For whatever reason, his replacement vest was sent in the correct size, but fit incorrectly, and he was totally chill and willing to let us overnight him a new one to perfect his fit. Thanks for letting us take care of you, Matt!

Okay guys, now it’s time for our favorite photos from their wedding….are you ready?! This is their first look and when we saw these, all of us girls here at Dress Gallery were bawling. The raw and honest emotion on Matt’s face when he saw his smokeshow of a wife was the absolute best!

Thank you so much, Matt & Abby, for allowing Dress Gallery to play a small part in your big day. We were so thankful to get to know you both during your time with us. We wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness, and ALL of the laughter – which we know is the future for both of you!

It’s time to give another #dggroom some love! We have to give it up for Carlos. Not only was he one of the most laid-back grooms we’ve ever had, but we was so patient with us during one of our biggest wedding weekends of the year! He trusted us to ensure he looked his best on his wedding day and, we might be biased, but we think he looks pretty sharp! Thanks to our girl, Shelby Laine, for these fabulous photos.

We styled Carlos in our Houston suit, a slim fit steel grey stunner that has become one of our most popular rentals since it arrived earlier in 2020! A perfect combination between dark and light greys, Houston is a great option for dressing up and dressing down. Carlos kept his look classic with brown formal shoes, ivory shirt, and patterned ivory floral tie! We love that he spiced up his outfit by adding a Stetson hat, which totally matched his personality.

Congratulations to the Rizo’s!

We think that sometimes, grooms don’t get nearly as much as love as they deserve. It’s their wedding day, too, after all! If you’re going to look drop dead gorgeous, then we think your spouse deserves to look their ultra best as well. Our tuxedo formalwear retailer, Skeffington’s, has tons of classic and trendy colors and fits to totally customize your wedding!

Here are some of our recent favorite menswear looks, all available to be recreated with our options! Fall in love with a look? Save it and show it to your consultant during your tuxedo appointment!

Option 1: Trendy colored suits

We are absolutely loving this trend of grooms in colors. Giving your spouse the opportunity to pop with a trendy color from your color palette is a great way to highlight them while also making the two of you the world’s cutest couple. We have colored velvet tuxedoes for rent, but also have a fabulous suits for purchase – which means you can wear it for every anniversary date!

Option 2: Jewel-toned tuxedoes

If you’re a bride wanting a timeless, classic look, just jazzed up with color, we recommend a deep color like burgundy. We have this exact burgundy tuxedo available to be rented; we love the black lapel accent that keeps this look formal and chic. Color swap by having the groomsmen in black suits with burgundy outfits and you’ve got the most pleasingly coordinated pictures!

Option 3: Multi-shades of grey

We are loving the mix-matched bridesmaids look and think it’s FINALLY time that your groomsmen get just as much uniqueness in their look, too! Creating a multi-hued look is super easy, plus allows your men to wear whatever grey they’ve got available. Tie them together with matching accessories and boutonnieres to keep the look cohesive!

Option 4: All matching everything

Another option to keep your wedding party looking sharp? Keeping everyone in something classic – and having them all match. Regardless of the gender of your wedding party, keeping the details similar and having matching accessories ties everyone together. Having your groomswoman in a pencil skirt or your bridesman in colored suspenders are small ways to play with androgyny!

Option 4: Bring in some texture!

One of the most popular requests we get from brides these days is for texture – specifically tweed! As cozy fall weddings are becoming more popular, bringing in warm textures is a great way to heighten your spouse’s look. We have tweed vests available in store in multiple colors, along with partial rental packages in case you’re wanting to let your guys shine!

Option 5: All white everything

If there’s a monochromatic look we’ve been loving for grooms recently, it’s definitely the all white/ivory look. Turn tradition on its head and let the groom wear white next to you, too! We think this is a totally striking look, especially when the wedding party is in something with heavy contrast. Add a white tie but a pop of color in the flowers and you’re sure to be the most fashionable couple!
