Alright, guys – in celebration of our next #dgcouple, this post is coming out on the bride’s birthday!! Morgan and Anders originally planned a late 2020 ceremony that COVID-19 pushed back. After patiently waiting over two years for their plans to fall together, they finally tied in the knot in Kansas City this previous October. Their photographer, OK-based Sydney Davidson, captured their day in an effortlessly moody, documentary-style gallery that we were transfixed by. Without further ado, let us introduce: Morgan and Anders!

We love Morgan and Anders, y’all. They were an absolute blast to style and not only did they trust us to style THEM, but we were also lucky enough to style their maids and men, too. It was so nice to hang out with their whole group of friends and family every time they came in. We just KNOW that this wedding was a down-to-earth, celebratory affair and the pictures that Sydney captured totally proved that!

For her gown, Morgan chose an absolutely stunning fitted Stella York gown (style 6487) featuring a high illusion neckline, illusion back, bold lace appliques, chic side cutouts, and a fabulous train with just enough drama. She kept her look timeless and traditional by choosing an all-ivory color palette and gorgeous cathedral length beaded veil to add just a POP of sparkle! Add in the fact that this dress was already perfectly Morgan’s size and she was able to buy it off-the-rack and we truly believe this dress was just here, waiting at DG for her.

Real fast, grab the tissues – we LOVED these shots of Morgan and Anders’ daughter, Carly, getting ready in her mom’s gown. Carly was the only member of the party we weren’t able to style, but seeing her in Morgan’s dress truly touched our hearts. These are the types of photos we know our brides will cherish forever! (We’re not bawling over here, it’s fine!! We’re fine!!)

When it came to Morgan’s girls, she chose a gorgeous multi-hued blue color palette, allowing her bridesmaids to pick whatever styles suited them best within the colors she loved. Her daughter and nieces also were included as junior bridesmaids, which was perfect, as all of our bridesmaids designers have junior styles available! It was a perfect way to make sure they matched, but they also received gowns that were age and alterations appropriate. Interested in junior gowns and the differences between them and women’s sizing? Ask your bridesmaids specialist during your appointment!

Morgan’s girls shined in various colors of blue, specifically Morilee’s “Slate” and “Dove” colors, along with Kanali K’s “Slate” and “Dusty Blue.” We absolutely love creating mix-and-match color palettes, so if you’re wanting to recreate Morgan’s style with your own colors, we’re happy to help guide your girls into something comfortable, but also cohesive for your photos.

Seriously, we know we’re biased, but Anders’ guys were SO FUN to style. This group wanted something that made them look classic and timeless, while also still having that edge of unique and different that fits Anders’ personality so well. We decided to land on our super popular Houston dark grey suit, a perfect trim fit and traditional color, while they paired it with their own all-black Converse for an extra cool look. We matched the blue accents to the steel blue and marine colors in the boys’ ties to bring everything together! All-in-all, we love this super relaxed yet totally modern groomsmen look.

Congratulations, Morgan and Anders! We are so thankful you chose Dress Gallery as your bridal boutique. You guys were a blast to style, hang out with, and generally just get to know. We’re secretly sad you’re married – can y’all just plan a vow renewal every year so we have an excuse to hang out with you?! We wish you both, along with Harper and Carly, a lifetime of love, happiness, and laughter. We are so thankful the Universe brought your family into our lives. Now, cheers to the Herpolsheimers!

Alright, y’all, we have been anxiously waiting to showcase one of our newest #dgcouples and we figure a brand new year is the best way to do it! Introducing Jane and Luke, one of the single cutest couples we’ve ever had the pleasure of styling. These two are so full of LIFE and JOY y’all, we almost couldn’t handle it. You’re going to wanna book their photographer, KC-based native Mallorie McBride, to copy ALL of their gorgeously romantic, moody photos. Ready to see one of our favorites weddings ever?! See some sneak peeks below!

UH, WE WEREN’T KIDDING GUYS! Do you see how dreamy their wedding day look is?! We love their neutral color palette to match Mallorie’s bohemian-style of editing. Their totally organic, very Earthy day totally fit the easy-going vibe of their wedding day. Jane chose an absolutely stunning Moonlight Couture long-sleeved gown while Luke stunned in a fabulous sand-colored suit! Here are a few more photos with details about their looks:

Jane chose a Bishop-sleeved Moonlight gown, featuring an A-line silhouette, organic lace details, minimal sparkle, and the flowiest skirt imaginable. We love how delicate and whimsical her tulle Bishop sleeves made the entire look feel! Also, her lace appliques were featured from head to toe, allowing her to feel like a literal Earth angel in every step. We’re a little biased, but her naturally curly hair pulled back into a gorgeous bridal updo feels organically beautiful in the BEST way. (All of us girls here at DG desperately want your hair Jane, sorry – it’s for real goals!)

When it came to Luke and his guys, we knew we wanted to match the same effortless vibe of Jane while still making sure Luke felt like a star of the show. They chose classic sand-color suits, perfect for their late summertime wedding. We love that Luke decided to keep his look casual, yet fashionable by opting for no tie and an open shirt collar – totally laid back, yet clearly a knockout outfit! We’re definitely going to be referencing this group in the future for brides who are back and forth on whether they want tie options!

Congratulations, Jane and Luke! We had an absolute BLAST styling you both and helping you find your perfect attire for your wedding. Your love and laughter is infectious and we are so thankful we got to be in your atmosphere. We wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness, and laughter. Cheers to the Lallements!

We are pretending there’s no chill in the air with this next late summertime #dgbride! Maggie married her soulmate, Mark, in one of the coolest, moodiest ceremonies we’ve ever seen. Their ultra-cool Kansas City wedding featured modern, yet organic accents and while we can’t claim Mark’s look, you’re gonna wanna steal ALL these details. We loved their gallery courtesy of Chelcie McFarland Photography, as it was filled with unique poses, cool editing, and the most luxurious looking bridal portraits. Get ready to fall in love, guys!

Maybe we’re biased, but we fell heels-over-head for Maggie’s wedding vision. She knew she wanted an upscale, elegant affair, but with really organic and moody details to make the overall feel super intimate. Maggie was one of our final Martina Liana brides, choosing this super stunning crepe down with dramatic train, delicately beaded straps, and a sophisticated yet sexy plunge. We love her crystal accessories and textured florals that add dimension to all her photos!

We can’t claim credit for Mark’s fabulous look, but we DEFINITELY have some options for fashion-forward grooms wanting an untraditional look. With sea green, mulberry, and sand just to name a few of our colors, we can always style your group with something different than traditional black or grey. Add in a pop of texture with a floral tie and you have a super cool grooms’ attire that will truly stand out!

Congratulations to the Lash’s! We are so thankful, Maggie, that you chose Dress Gallery as your bridal boutique. We loved getting to know you and are so grateful you trusted us to style you for such an important event. Your photos are truly stunning! We wish you + Mark a lifetime of love, happiness, and laughter. Cheers to you both!

Guys, guys! We are so excited to introduce one of our newest #dgbrides, Kylie! She married her soulmate, Michael, in the brightest, dreamiest outdoor ceremony this past summer. We feel heels over head for her photos courtesy of Little Bird Photo, whom we have decided is one of the SWEETEST photographers and we loved her shooting + editing style! You should definitely put her on your short list of potential photographers after you see some of these glorious sneak peeks!

For her bridal look, Kylie chose a stunning, traditional off-the-shoulder ballgown courtesy of MGNY Bridal. Style 51435 was the perfect choice for Kylie’s true bridal look. The bold lace appliques keep this traditional silhouette ultra modern and we love that she picked an all ivory color palette. Michael’s navy blue look perfectly complimented the crisp, clean look of Kylie’s dress. It’s hard to see in the photos, but her dress featured a small layer of subtle glitter to add extra shimmer in every step!

How cute at these two?! Kylie is a petite bride, so to accomodate her height, we actually ordered this dress in a shorter length! Doing so made sure the dress was made proportionally to her height, but also saved her a little bit in alterations because she needed minimal hem height taken off!

Congratulations, Kylie and Michael! Thank you so much for choosing Dress Gallery as your bridal boutique. We loved getting to know you and help you find your gorgeous wedding dress. We wish you both a lifetime of love and laughter; cheers to the Olsens!
