In the midst of these wintertime blues, we figured now would be a good time to showcase one of our absolute favorite styled shoots. Stephanie Tran put together a GORGEOUS bohemian beauty this past summer and it’s truly a crime we’ve waited this long to showcase the photos – but we knew these sunny, dreamy babes would be perfect to break out during the dreary darker months. We love everything from the spicy strapless fitted Morilee gown and custom Chic Nostalgia arm cuffs we styled to the stylish circle hat + ivory bootie combo and the effortlessly sexy appeal of the whole shoot. Get ready to fall in love and decide to run away with your lover after seeing these shots!

For this shoot, we knew we wanted something fun, flirty, and dramatic to match the epic backdrop of Monument Rocks. Stephanie wanted a dusty color palette, so we knew a nude undertone would match the vibe best. We landed on Serena, (style 2143), from Morilee, a STUNNING strapless gown featuring bohemian and floral lace, subtle sparkle, and a massive train. Since this was a whimsical, wild, elopement-styled shoot, we tossed tradition to the wind and opted for a cool bohemian arm cuff as her spicy accessory, knowing that a veil or hairpiece wouldn’t work with the circle hat. All in all, this is a GREAT way to feel down-to-earth and effortlessly cool while still choosing a traditional bridal gown!

We absolutely loved being a part of this styled shoot! Stephanie had a super cool, unique vision and watching it come to life was one of our favorite moments this year. Plus, she knocked it out of the park SO MUCH that Morilee, the bridal designer, featured the photos on their own bridal blog! Talk about a shout out, right?! Stephanie, thanks for including us in your vision – sign us for first for your next one, please!!!

These lists are seriously in no particular order because we love all of these photographers, so if you’re looking for someone to capture your big day, take a peek at some of our favorites!

Alycia Rife Photography

Buckle up, guys, because you’re about to be blown away by Alycia’s photos. We have been big fans of her work for years now and she comes highly recommended by our brides; her word-of-mouth reputation is beyond stellar. We love her natural, but just-a-tad-dusty editing style that keeps your pictures moody yet timeless!

Becca Louise Photo

So we feel super bad that it’s taken us three posts to give a shoutout to Miss Becca. Not only is she a FAB photographer, but she’s also a DG bride! So she really gets it, ya know? We have loved collaborating with her recently on a multitude of styled photoshoots; her creative and artistic viewpoint really shows in her couples’ wedding galleries. She keeps her editing bright and natural with just a hint of moodiness – the perfect combination.

Jubilee Opal Photography

Holy smokeshow! Every time we’ve received a bride’s gallery from Jubilee Opal, we’ve been blown away. Not only does she always deliver a ton of images, but she also has a great way of capturing her couple’s natural happiness. We love her combination of earthy edits and black-and-white beauties; definitely check her out!

Kara Smith Photography

If you’re ready to have the dreamiest, most ethereal wedding photos in the game, then you need to go talk to Kara. She has a unique vision when it comes to her galleries and we’re loving her editing recently. It’s a great combination of timeless and light along with a undertone of moodiness and emotion that we love. Some of our favorite brides have RAVED about Kara, so she should definitely be on your list!

Joshua Ayres Photography

If you’re a bride looking for more traditional wedding photos, we definitely recommend Joshua. His classic editing and posing make for gorgeous, timeless photos that will stand the test of time. We love his attention to detail and how he manages to capture every smile!

Sincerely T Photography

Let us introduce you to another DG bride/photographer we love! Tonya is an absolute fabulous human being and a serious hustler man. Not only is she a wife & Momma, but she’s also a multi-business entrepreneur! She runs Ciao Nail Salon (across the street from us in Delano!) along with her own photography business. We love her romantic, dreamy style of editing.

Gentle Rayne Photography

Time to introduce y’all to Jess, one of the coolest and edgiest photographers in the game. We were introduced during a styled workshop and ever since, we’ve been big fans. She takes moody portraits to a whole new level while still highlighting the natural beauty of the day. We think her detail shots are UNREAL – she won’t miss anything on your big day!

Sublett Studios

If you’re looking for a photographer with hundreds of hours under her belt, plenty of weddings, and an editing style she’s perfected, then check out Sublett Studios. She has been one of the most consistent wedding photographers in Wichita for ages and there’s a reason her reputation is so good; she knows her way around a camera. We love that she lets the natural beauty of the day shine and keeps her editing bright, light, and minimal.

R & B Photography

We love a good photography duo – it’s a guaranteed way to make sure you have a second shooter at your event PLUS two sets of eyes capturing important moments is always better than one. Briley and Rylee are a fabulous combo that we’ve heard GREAT things about; they’re relatively new to the Wichita photography scene, but we can tell they’re not going ANYWHERE.

Emona Hennen Photography

Rounding out this list is one of our long-time favorite wedding photographers, Emona Hennen! She is a natural at capturing at couples in their element, totally happy and relaxed. Her galleries are full of natural poses, bubbly personalities, and tons of gorgeous photos. We think her golden hour photos are some of the best in biz!

Found your favorite photographer yet?! Is there someone we’re missing?! Let us know on Facebook and we’ll include them for ROUND FOUR, coming soon!

We have been anxiously waiting to show you this #dgcouple, Michaela & Josh! We love all of our couples, but the Wests are a couple near & dear to our hearts. We loved being able to help style Michaela, Josh, & their loved ones for their big day. Check out these STUNNING photos courtesy of Rebecca Rose Photography and fall just as in love with this happy-go-lucky couple as we did!

Michaela knew she wanted an autumnal wedding, complete with a dusty color palette and tons of bright florals. Originally, she thought she wanted a bohemian-inspired dress; we tried several head-to-toe lace options that weren’t quite right. Eventually, we decided to try something out of left field and picked a gorgeous a-line mikado strapless gown featuring bold lace in the bodice and a simplistic skirt.

Once everyone saw Michaela in the dress, we knew it was The One! We love how she styled her wedding day look by showcasing her gorgeous shoulders & neck with a simple up-do. Her dress was chic & timeless, which ended up fitting perfectly with the airy and bright theme!

Michaela paired her simplistic yet stunning gown with bright, textured florals which were perfect for her autumn ceremony. We loved the dried grasses which added great texture, but also the perfect neutral for all of her decor! Her altar was totally decked out with florals and dried grasses, which made the perfect backdrop!

When it came to styling her bridal party, Michaela knew she was looking for a mix-and-match color palette complete with lots of texture along with rusty oranges. She did a great job creating the color vision she was wanting and then letting her girls pick their own dresses based off the color palette! The end result was a gorgeously effortless look where you can tell everyone felt their best.

Styling Josh, his groomsmen, and important members of the family was also a job we took extra seriously. We wanted the men of the day to look just as good! Josh chose our striking navy blue tuxedo, complete with burnt orange accents and brown shoes, which matched the neutrals of the girls’ dresses perfectly. We also love that Michaela bridged the two looks with help of one of her bridesmen – by bringing in navy suspenders for him, he was able to help tie everyone together!

Can we talk about how good this group looks?! SERIOUSLY. And we are loving the natural autumnal backdrop. Michaela & Josh couldn’t have asked for a more perfectly timed wedding – just as the leaves are turning and falling!

Michaela and Josh were such a joy to work with. We are so thankful they chose Dress Gallery as their bridal boutique! Not only did your group look real good, (if we do say so ourselves!), but we loved being able to play a small part in your big day. Seeing your photos full of laughter & love brought us all the biggest smiles!

Congratulations to you, Josh & Michaela! We wish you a lifetime of love, happiness, and laughter – something we’re certain you will have in abundance. Cheers to the Wests!

Part Two of an ongoing series! Check out Part One here.

Okay, okay, our bad, guys – we meant to get this list out WAY earlier, but life got a little crazy. There are so many great photographers in our area to highlight that, honestly, we got distracted pulling images of our brides from their galleries and forgot all about this second little part. But now’s the time to highlight ten more FABULOUS photographers to use for your wedding photos! Whose work do you absolutely love? Let us know in the comments or on Facebook!

Brianna Huynh Photography

Brianna is one of the sweetest photographers we’ve ever worked with. Our working relationship with her is new, but every time we’ve seen a gallery from her, we fall head-over-heels in love. Her bright and airy shooting style totally captures the love between her couples and we think she shines with natural, organic backgrounds. We love how often she second shoots with other photographers in town, too, which means you’re guaranteed to get the best shots when Brianna is on your team!

Native Roaming

Daedra from Native Roaming is another one of our newest connections in the industry and we. are. obsessed. She popped in one day to introduce herself and ended up hanging out in store for almost an hour – she’s that chill! Daedra would be the ultimate friend to shoot your wedding and we love her natural, organic vision. She has the gorgeous, dusty outdoor photos of your dreams DOWN.

Glynne Ashley Photography

Man, oh man, get ready to fall in love with Glynne Ashley’s photography style, guys – because we did. Her natural yet moody photo style perfectly captures wedding days in the most authentic way. Every gallery we’ve seen from her features laughing couples and fabulously candid, real photos. If you’re wanting true down-to-earth photos, check out Glynne!

Chris Cerna Photography

Time to show off a longtime Wichita favorite! We’ve been falling in love with Chris Cerna’s work for years now and honestly, he just keeps getting better. His genuine photos, natural posing, and great personality have made him a staple in our local wedding industry. If you want someone with a great eye, lots of experience, and the cosign of many other photographers, Chris is your guy!

Brittany McCloskey Photography

Want fun, bright, colorful photos that will look totally gorgeous in 30 years? Brittany is your girl. She’s a personal favorite of our consultant, Katie, and has taken her family photos for years. She is the queen of capturing natural connection and emotion in her photos. Her light editing style makes her perfect for any wedding wanting romantic and timeless photos!

Sydney Davidson

Wanting something a little ~different for your wedding photos? Look no further than Sydney Davidson, who is the queen at unique, authentic photos with a 70s feel. Her artistic eye gives her photos a one-of-a-kind vision and all of her galleries feature shots that other photographers would miss, neglect, or otherwise forget. Sydney captures details perfectly and totally creates an ethereal vibe in all of her photos. If you’re wanting the perfect documentarian for your wild & free photos, Sydney is your girl.

Alexandra Burt Photography

Want the absolute sweetest photographer in the game? Then you wanna ask for Alexandra. We cannot thank her enough for all of her thoroughness in getting images to us; she reaches out to all the wedding vendors post-wedding to share galleries and show off her couples. ON TOP OF THAT, she also reaches out to your vendors BEFORE the big day to make sure there’s no shots she absolutely needs. Her thoughtfulness for everyone involved to make a big day perfect is truly unique. She’s one of the best for sure!

Maktography MK

You know you can trust a photographer when YOUR photographer uses her. Our love, Shelby Laine, used Mak for her own wedding photos on their big day – and to be honest, there’s not a higher recommendation than we can give than that. Mak is upbeat, fun, and totally down-to-earth; she’s the perfect person to have by your side on your wedding day!

Erin King Photography

Don’t be like us and sleep on Erin, fam, because this girl is good. We were recently sent a bride’s gallery from Erin and oh my goodness, we all lost our minds. Not only was the bride a smokeshow, but Erin’s natural artistic eye created unique, emotive photos. Her gallery was a combination of traditional, romantic, upbeat, and sexy – a whirlwind of emotions in the absolute best way.

Staci Brucks Photography

Rounding out this list of 10 is Staci Brucks, affectionately known as Staci B! Her well-rounded portfolio features maternity, wedding, seniors, families, newborns, and more – she has shot it all. She’s an expert at capturing the true, real moments as they happen and we love her easy, bright editing style. Check out these photos she took of our consultant, Katie!

Stay tuned for part three, where we’ll feature even MORE of our favorite photographers. Have someone we’re missing? Let us know on Facebook who we should feature next!
