To celebrate the upcoming new year, we decided to highlight one of our newest #dgcouples! Hailey and Andrew got married in a super intimate mountaintop elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park, followed by a gorgeous church ceremony in Wichita. Their adventurous spirit was perfectly captured by their photographer, Nomadicfitlust Photography, who specializes in Colorado destination weddings. We LOVED helping this totally sweet, compassionate couple and you are going to fall in LOVE with them both once you see these joyous photos. We wanted to shout it from the mountaintops – congratulations, Hailey and Andrew!

Call us biased, but is there a more romantic place to elope?! We love the juxtaposition between the Wittman’s formal attire and the rugged, natural beauty of the Rockies. This location is next to gorgeous Lake Isabelle and it was certainly a hike to get to this spot! You can check out Andrew and Hailey look EXTRA cute in their hiking gear, complete with ponchos, as they trekked up to their ceremony area. What a fun way to make memories with your spouse on wedding day!

When it came to her wedding dress, Hailey knew she wanted a gown that was comfortable enough to hike in, while also being formal enough to be worn during their Wichita church ceremony as well. Modesty was important to Hailey and she also knew she’d be in a chilly area, so sleeves were a definite must for her as well. Her consultant, Marisa, pulled the PERFECT Sottero and Midgley gown for her – Arleigh, a stunning long-sleeved, sheath gown featuring delicate beading and illusion shoulder cut outs. Hailey built up the back of the dress with additional lace for more coverage and the look is totally breathtaking for her mountainside ceremony!

Andrew came in wanting a fashion-forward suit that totally fit the Earth tone color palette for their wedding day. His sand colored suit was purchased from our menswear department and was tailored at our preferred seamstress. We love his slim fit cut that showcased his silhouette; we had to make sure he looked as good as Hailey! This light suit was a great combination of formal, yet down-to-Earth to fit the vibe of their wedding day.

As Christians, it was important for Hailey and Andrew to show their devotion not only to God, but to each other. We’ve seen multiple couples honor this tradition during their ceremonies, but we love that Hailey and Andrew were able to serve each other with beautiful Lake Isabelle as their water. It created not only gorgeous photos, but a truly intimate moment that resonated with everyone present. This was a beautiful way for them to honor their love for each other and God going forward in their marriage.

Congratulations, Hailey and Andrew! We are SO THANKFUL you trusted Dress Gallery to style you for your wedding day. We loved getting to know you both and are so lucky we were able to be a small part of your big day. We wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness. Cheers to the Wittmans!

Get some ice water ready, fam, because this next wedding is spicy! Introducing Elizabeth & James, a #dgcouple who totally turned up the dial on their New Years weekend wedding day. Their winter wedding was moody, dark, and S E X Y – we were fanning ourselves the whole time! Yet the entire wedding was classic, timeless, and entirely church-appropriate. Check out these STUNNING images courtesy of Justin Casanova. Like, for real Justin – stunning!

We are heels-over-head in love with Elizabeth in Aston, a Sottero & Midgley crepe down featuring a dramatic illusion-beaded back, elegant sleeves, a high neck, & flowing train. She’s total proof that you can be fully covered and still be totally sexy. This gorgeous fabric drapes the natural silhouette, allowing Elizabeth’s body to be the true focus! Add in some dramatic beaded embellishments and this dress was the perfect fit for their romantic, moody affair.

We love Elizabeth’s overall wedding day look – she kept her makeup dramatic, yet classic, with a bold, dark lip that matches the dark crimsons in her color palette. Her glamorous Old Hollywood hair was a perfect compliment to her wedding gown. The overall vibe of the wedding was romantic, yet dark, and her fatally beautiful look was to die for! (See what we did there?)

For James & his groomsmen, we wanted to make sure the style fit the classic glamour that Elizabeth was looking for. They opted for a classic steel grey suit – dark enough to fit the mood, but a softer contrast than a traditional black tux. They kept their accents neutral and allowed the bright crimson roses to be the accent of color! We’re also a little biased, but love a good group in bowties, don’t ya think?

We cannot get over how fabulously in love Elizabeth and James look in all their photos. Justin Casanova did an astounding job capturing their day in all of its moody, lovely glory. This is a perfect example of how’s it’s possible to have a seductively dark and moody wedding without having it in October. The cool winter air and atmosphere added an extra layer of drama to their day!

Congratulations to you, Elizabeth & James! We are so thankful you chose Dress Gallery as your bridal boutique. We truly loved getting to style you; your wedding will go down as one of our favorites, truly! We wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter, & happiness. Cheers to the Leikers!

If there’s a buzzword surrounding weddings currently, it’s definitely “bohemian.” We are huge fans of the boho trend here at Dress Gallery because it’s all-encompassing; so many details can fit under the boho umbrella, which gives brides plenty of opportunity to personalize their weddings while still having the vibes they’re looking for.

We had our boho brides in mind when choosing styles for 2021; we wanted to find unique dresses that encompassed the wild-and-free vibes our brides are wanting. Whether you’re wanting a sexy fitted gown or a whimsical a-line, here are 7 of our favorites from this upcoming season!

Introducing Olson, a stunning a-line Sottero & Midgley gown featuring the coolest medallion-styled lace panels, a sheer back, crystal buttons, a thin-yet-sexy spaghetti strap! The soft v-neck keeps this dress sophisticated yet modern and we love the movement that comes in this skirt. This is truly the ultimate beach destination dress.

Charli is a stunning fitted sheath gown from Wilderly Bride, featuring sheet lace with both floral and linear detailing. This dress features no sparkle, which is perfect for the bride looking to make a statement with her silhouette instead. The sweetheart neckline paired with narrow plunging v is super sexy yet classic!

Iris is an absolutely stunning dress that we can’t wait to see frolicking through a forest. This unique lace dress features art deco/floral/geometric detailing – it’s honestly so different, it’s a little bit of everything. The soft drape of the skirt is absolutely stunning, laying gently across the hips and folding gracefully through the puddle skirt. Add in a sheer back and super modern tie-strap detail and this is truly the dreamiest gown.

Adley is a stunning fitted gown from our bohemian designer, All Who Wander, featuring a super cool laser cut out lace pattern. This thick lace is a totally different look & feel than traditional lace; combined with the champagne undertone, this dress’s lack of sparkle doesn’t matter when the silhouette is this stunning. Add in a sophisticated high neck/plunging keyhole combination and you’re destined to be a stunner in this gown.

Speaking of cool, bold lace patterns…..can we introduce you to Celine? We absolutely love this fern-like lace, creating a silhouette that is absolutely stunning. This gown is truly for the bold – we can imagine this dress with a grand backdrop. She adds a touch of sparkle with heavily-pearled straps and a dramatic train keeps this baby ultra modern.

Looking for something simplistic, chic, and ultra comfortable? Let us match you with Daffodil, a Chic Nostalgia a-line stunner that is literally like wearing the most comfortable gown. The sheet lace bodice, side cut outs, petite spaghetti straps, and soft chiffon skirt make this dress dreamy and feminine!

Finally, introducing Emily, a scoop neck, heavily-beaded chiffon stunner we absolutely love. Is there anything more bohemian than fringe, really? We don’t think so. This dress is the ultimate combination between fun and traditional, letting you feel like a bride while keeping your whimsical personality at the forefront.

Which boho babe is your fav?! Let us know on Facebook and show us photos during your appointment; we’ll pull these dresses for you!

Edgy and cool #dgbride Leah married her soulmate, Jordan, on June 20, 2020 at the Hudson. Their wedding day looked a little different thanks to COVID-19 than they anticipated, but it was an intimate affair surrounded by gorgeous greenery, stylish hexagons, and one of the coolest Maggie Sottero gowns around. Check out some details below! (Psst – thanks Bele Benard for these gorgeous wedding photos! She may be out of the wedding game now, but if you’re looking into boudoir, we promise there’s no one better!)

Leah wanted her wedding to be laid-back and edgy-cool, featuring modern hexagon shapes throughout and absolutely no flowers anywhere – greenery only. This crisp and chic vibe was mirrored in the pressed flower hexagon bouquets for the bridesmaids and the sweeping, muted earth tones throughout the decorations!

We gotta talk about Leah real quick, guys, and love-gush on her a little bit. Not only is she the world’s sweetest bride, but she unexpectedly lost her father in September 2019 while she was wedding planning. This was obviously devastating for her entire family. Planning a wedding without one of the most important loved ones is so hard. Her bridal party knew how important it was to have her father present, so they surprised her with a Father/Daughter dance with each of them, allowing her to have an intimate moment with each of her girls that honored her father, who we know was watching, all smiles, from up above.

When it came to finding her dream dress, Leah knew she was going to be a Dress Gallery bride. She tried on about five or six dresses before her consultant, Courtney, pulled The One. Leah’s gorgeous fitted Maggie Sottero gown featured beading from head to toe, a gorgeous illusion back with geometric detailing, and the perfect puddle train. It helps that Courtney and Leah were sorority sisters in college and both share a love for American traditional tattoos; Courtney really wanted to find something that fit Leah’s cool vibe while also showing off her fabulous amount of ink! We love the juxtaposition of Leah’s girly, feminine gown and her bold, badass tattoos!

Originally, Leah & Jordan planned for a wedding of 150 people, which ended up becoming a small, intimate get-together of about 40. Due to social distancing restrictions and mask recommendations, their day was definitely different than what they anticipated. A few key members of the bridal party were unable to attend, so they pre-recorded speeches to be played during the reception and livestreamed the ceremony so everyone could be involved!

Leah is the ultimate queen of the down-to-earth, playful wedding vibe. Even though COVID-19 threw her some curveballs, she was able to roll with the punches and create a day that truly celebrated her and Jordan. They highlighted the important parts of their relationship – their doggos even made an appearance in the table numbers and custom cocktails! Keeping these small details specific to their love made their intimate ceremony so much more special!

At the end of the day, your wedding is about the love between you & your spouse – and no one knows that better than the Boncyzks. “Make it about you and your groom, not your guests,” Leah said. “Don’t stress over the little things (and it’s all little things.) Just enjoy your day!”

Thank you, Leah, for being the coolest of the cool. We are so thankful you chose Dress Gallery to outfit your wedding gown & bridesmaids. We wish you & Jordan the absolute best. Congratulations to you both!
