Alright, y’all, we are taking a tiny break from regularly-scheduled REAL bride content and showcasing one of our newest photoshoots! This super fun, full of laughter day was one of the most fun styled shoots we’ve done in a long time. Our girl Shelby Laine took the photos, the fabulous Elgin Hotel in Marion, KS hosted, and we had a blast hanging out and goofing around. We hope you’ll fall in love with this beautiful venue as much as we did! Check out some of our favorite pics below:

If you’re wanting the PERFECT old hotel/vintage building type of vibe, The Elgin should be super high on your list of potentials. This gorgeous hotel features turn of the century architecture, stunning details, and the perfect balance of elegant-yet-spooky vibes. We loved how ethereal and moody the entire building felt and there were SO MANY great places to shoot. The entire grounds are gorgeous and give you TONS of options for your ceremony set ups!

Take a peek at the gorgeous woodwork of the building! The gold accents! The piano in the foyer! The elegant chandelier! We could literally go on pretty much all day because we are literally obsessed. This was our first shoot at The Elgin but it certainly won’t be our last.

When it came to styling for this shoot, we knew we wanted looks that captured the elegant, romantic vibe of The Elgin. We chose one of our exclusive gowns from our private collection, Opal and Lace, named Blossom! This A-line gown features a subtle v-neckline, organic trickling lace, whimsical bishop sleeves, and a stunning layer of secret sparkle. These sleeves are actually even detachable, allowing for a costume change post-ceremony if you wanted. We loved the long sleeve look and wanted to keep the entire vibe sophisticated, yet fun-loving.

For our male model’s look, we kept everything classic and chic with our most popular navy blue suit and matching tie. His ivory pocket square to match his ivory shirt allows for an extra pop of color next to his boutonniere. His sophisticated, timeless look next to her whimsical, blush-colored gown created a perfectly complimentary look that screamed elegance, yet warmth. We can recreate this look and styles similar with your own wedding colors with your groomsmen easily.

We had SO MUCH FUN during this shoot. What was your favorite part – the gorgeous outfits, the fun photography, the gorgeous venue?! We might be biased but we loved all three! Let your consultant know you want to try Blossom on during your next appointment!

Have you all fallen completely in love with our shoot from Alzavino Wine Tavern yet?! Have you TRIED Alzavino yet?! Because you need to run, not walk, down to their Delano location and test out all their delicious goodies. We had an absolute blast shooting in their European-inspired, ultra moody business, complete with gorgeous decor and tons of great wine. DG brides who say “YES!” to their dress receive goodies from Alzavino on us (exclusions apply), so we were so excited to collaborate with them on this creative project to announce our partnership. This last look is probably our FAVORITE; get ready to steal all these details!

Is it even a bougie shoot if you don’t get Leslie Coffee Co? And is there ANY better combination than espresso, wine, and dark chocolate?! Leslie served up a perfectly steamed mocha for our photoshoot, complete with the cutest latte art. We love our Delano neighbors!

Don’t forget to give Ken + Danielle our love when you spend ALL your free time at Alzavino….or, ya know, just wave at us, because we’ll probably be there, too!

We have been WAITING to announce a new partnership here at Dress Gallery and finally – the day has arrived! We’ve been trying to find a way for our brides to celebrate with champagne after they say “YES!” to their dream dress. Kansas liquor laws, however, make that extremely difficult for us to navigate as a retail business. After half a year of frustration, the heavens must have heard us….because Alzavino Wine Tavern opened two doors down! Owned by local couple Danielle and Ken Harmon, we partnered up with this gorgeous new business to help our brides celebrate while also encouraging support for a new local business. We are so thankful they agreed to partner with us; we truly think this is gonna change the GAME on the Dress Gallery experience.

We did a super sexy, ultra cool photoshoot to highlight some of our favorite new dresses and Alzavino’s new space. We wanted this shoot to feel decadent in every way – full of luxury, especially in the wine and chocolate! This effortlessly cool real-life couple, Sara and Ryan, totally encapsulated our European vibe for this shoot. Plus, we might be biased, but how hot do they look?! (Thx always to our girl Shelby Laine for snapping those good good photos.)

Get ready to want ALL of these looks for your wedding day – and get ready to check out Alzavino with your loved ones after you say yes to your dress!

Take a peek at Alzavino’s choco-cuterie board! This decadent dessert board features all LOCALLY MADE chocolate, fresh fruits, flaky croissants, and a chocolate fondue covered in roasted marshmallows. This has QUICKLY become a favorite of all the Dress Gallery girls and was promptly devoured during the photoshoot! Interested in the locally made chocolate? Check out Lovie and Co!

This is just PART ONE of our fabulous photoshoot! Stick around to see the final looks!

Doing styled shoots is one of the creative outlets that fills our hearts with joy over here at DG. We love collaborating with some of our favorite vendors to create images and magic that inspires both us and our brides! We teamed up with Shelby Laine + Free State Flora to showcase Free State’s newest storefront, their gorgeous floral installations, and some of our dreamiest new gowns! We wanted this shoot to be ethereal bohemian – truly the MOST romantic vibes we’ve ever done! Show us your favorite dress during your appointment and RUN, don’t walk, to book your wedding date with Shelby and Emily – they book up extra fast!

Ready to lose it over these gowns in person?! Show your consultant during your appointment and we’ll pull these styles for you!

HEY GUYS! We absolutely love it when new wedding vendors come into town. It allows for creatives to get inspired within a new space and begin envisioning what potential weddings will look like there. We were so thrilled when Emmy Liz Events asked us to be apart of the first styled shoot at The Vail, a renovated wedding venue across from Hotel Oldtown in downtown Wichita. This luxurious space is accented with classic colors, timeless decor, and enough of a blank canvas for you to totally make it your own.

Our girl Shelby Laine was the photographer on hand for this shoot, so you KNOW it was good! The list of incredible vendors that pulled off this incredible shoot is listed below, but in the meantime….get ready to fall in love with The Vail!

We love the copper and champagne colors Endless Treasures chose for the decor pieces in this shoot, especially combined with the edgy and modern cake courtesy of Stand Tall Bakery! This entire are feels bright, light, and moody – a literal opposites attract! We paired the shoot with one of our gorgeous Essense of Australia ball gowns, featuring a moscato undertone, criss-cross back detail, and the dreamiest skirt imaginable.

Can we talk about all that texture?!?! From the sequined skirt of the gown to the wild floral bouquet to the shaggy fur pillows….this crew sure knows how to stage scene! We love how luxurious the dress flows over the vintage couch paired with cool rug details for color and patterns. We might be biased, but we love that they kept her hairpieces a focal point of the beautiful updo! This is perfect inspiration for brides who want to ditch the veil, but still keep their look classy and bridal.

We LOVE a good Edison bulb moment – they give moody, contrasting light to all photos while also giving a warm glow, totally illuminating you in gorgeous light for bridal photos. Combine the look with lighted candles (faux or real!) and you have a cozy, intimate scene perfect for portraits. We love how Revel Gardens kept the florals dried and dusty, the perfect accent for this bohemian dream of a styled shoot.

What was your favorite part of this shoot?! Check out all the vendors’ work for even more images, videos, and behind-the-scenes of this awesome styled shoot. And if you’re looking for a wedding venue, make sure to put The Vail on the top of your list!
