Congratulations! You get to take your dress home!

Here’s what you need to know:

Please arrive on time. We’re often booked solid with appointments, so arriving too early may mean you’ll have to wait. If you arrive late your appointment may need to be rescheduled, or cut short.

No food or drink allowed. This includes your morning coffee or champagne.

Location: mapWe are located at 1005 W. Douglas Avenue. The closest cross-section is Douglas and Seneca. We are located at the western edge of the Delano District. There is only one entrance to the store – the westernmost door facing Douglas. There is parking in front of the store on Douglas Avenue. There is a parking lot behind the building but you must enter through the front door.

Who do I bring?  We are currently inviting the bride to bring four guests with her to an appointment. We ask that all guests be over the age of ten unless they are a part of the wedding party and here to get measured.

What exactly will I be doing at this appointment? You will be trying on your special order bridal gown. This is to ensure that it doesn’t have any anomalies and fits you pretty well. The fit will NOT be perfect right now because it’s straight from the designer and has not been fitted to you yet. You will NOT be doing alterations at this appointment. If you want to be styled, we can sure do that too! We can try on veils and jewelry, provided you didn’t purchase those during your initial consultation.

Can I do my alterations that day?  We do not do alterations in house, but we recommend Juliana at Quickstitch. (316)630-0074. They are open 6 days a week and we would be happy to help you schedule with them! Quickstitch is located at 550 N. Rock Road.

What do I do with my dress after I try it on? It’s time to take your dress home! Remember, all items must be paid in full and picked up within 60 days of arrival. If you need extended storage, we are happy to accommodate! There is a $25 per month storage fee that accrues on the 15th of each month. Your storage fee is due before your gown leaves the store. This fee helps us pay for insurance and rent on the storage area. If you need your gown shipped, talk to us and we can give you a quote on shipping costs.

If I made the 60% down payment, do I need to pay the remainder of my balance? Most likely, yes. Your balance is due 60 days after the arrival text message telling you that it has arrived. If you don’t pay the balance at this appointment, you will likely need to pay it very soon. If your dress is leaving the store it has to be paid in full, and any storage fees must be paid as well.
